Frequently Asked Questions
A prorated warranty means that the amount of coverage you get under your warranty gets smaller the longer you’ve had and used your extensions.
For example, if there’s a manufacturing defect within the first 30 days, you might be eligible for a full replacement. But after those 30 days, the coverage starts to decrease based on how much time has passed since you bought the extensions.
Pro-Rated Means: The longer you’ve worn them, the less coverage you may have.
If you’re not eligible for a full replacement but you do qualify under our prorated policy, you will receive discount on a new set based on the pro-rated amount left on your policy.
For example:
If you're making a claim after 30 days, you may receive a larger portion of the replacement cost. If you're making a claim after 90 days, the replacement amount will be lower, as the warranty decreases over time.
The calculation is based on the number of days remaining on your warranty and the closer you are to the end of the 120-day period, the less coverage you’ll receive.
The longer you’ve had the hair, the smaller the discount will be.
Your warranty is valid for 120 days starting from the date you purchased your extensions. This means your coverage ends 120 days after the purchase date. To find out exactly when your warranty expires, you can check the confirmation email you received at the time of purchase. If you don’t have that, you can calculate your expiration date by adding 120 days to the date you bought your extensions.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to submit a claim.
Shedding is not always a sign of a manufacturing defect. Here are some points to consider before submitting a claim:
- Is the shedding excessive? Minor shedding over time is normal for hair extensions.
- When did the shedding start? Excessive shedding soon after installation could indicate a potential issue.
- Was the hair cared for according to our hair care guide? Improper care or incorrect installation may void the warranty.
If you believe the shedding is excessive and started within the warranty period, you may submit a claim.
Fading or discolouration occur due to exposure to mineral buildup, hard water, sunlight, incorrect products used, or chemicals like chlorine.
Please review our Care Guidelines
If your hair extensions are tangling or knotting, it's usually due to product buildup, mineral deposits, or the use of unsafe hair products. These issues are not covered by the warranty. However, if inversion—considered a manufacturing defect—can be proven, you may be eligible to submit a claim under the warranty.
